Episode Overview

Emma invites Kate to share her experiences as a travel agent during the school's "Women's Career Day," which prompts Allie to confront her growing dissatisfaction with her job at the movie theater. Just as she decides to make a change, the theater unexpectedly burns down. Inspired by Kate's encouragement to pursue her dream, Allie lands a position at the gift shop of the "Museum of Contemporary Art." However, as Allie revels in her newfound joy, Kate begins to realize her own discontent with her job. During her talk, Kate passionately expresses her desire to leave her role, only for Allie to return home with news that flooding from the museum's sprinklers has left her jobless too.
