Overview
Set in the rugged landscape of Yellowknife, Arctic Air follows the dynamic Ivarson family and their maverick airline. Mel Ivarson, a seasoned bush pilot, teams up with his daughter Krista and Bobby Martin, the son of Mel's late partner, to navigate the challenges of running their unconventional business. Each episode presents a mix of personal conflicts and high-stakes flying missions using their vintage fleet, including Douglas DC-3s and de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otters. Despite its captivating stories, the show came to an end on March 17, 2014, due to budget cuts.
