After a brutal alien assault, the 2nd Mass struggles to recover as Maggie battles for her life, with Hal desperately trying to save her. At the same time, Tom and Dingaan find themselves trapped under a massive pile of debris, isolated from their comrades. They must put their faith in an Enemy Ship for their chance at rescue.
