The Big Valley (1965)

Episode Overview

While counting cattle, Heath stumbles upon a dead animal. As he dismounts to take a closer look, he is shot by the same rawhiders responsible for the cow's death. Discovering that he's still alive, they opt to bring him back to the ranch for a “finder's reward.” Upon arrival, they realize that all the other men have left for at least a week, leaving the ranch and everything inside vulnerable to their plans.
