Episode Overview
In an unfamiliar town, Heath and Nick purchase a bull, only to be accused of theft by the seller, who promptly has them arrested. While sitting by their campfire, the sheriff catches up with them, leading to a scuffle during which Heath suffers a severe leg burn. The corrupt sheriff sends them to a road gang prison to await trial—months down the line. The harsh warden denies Heath medical care, forcing him to labor alongside other inmates. They soon discover that innocent drifters are exploited for free labor by the man who sold them the bull. Back home, Jarrod learns of his brothers' plight and rushes to their aid. At the prison, he demands to see them, threatening the warden with legal action when denied. After their meeting, he sets off to find the circuit judge, alarmed by the unfolding situation.
