Deep within the Transylvanian mountains, she uncovers a cave that has remained untouched for millennia, revealing stark evidence of a deadly confrontation between two starving titans: a cave bear and a cave lion. However, Alice learns that the Ice Age was a boon for woolly rhinos and mammoths. The expansive Mammoth Steppe, stretching across vast distances, offered a year-round food supply for those adapted to the cold.
