An Idiot Abroad (2010)

Episode Overview

Karl sets off for Africa to meet a gorilla. Before heading to Uganda, he kicks off his journey in South Africa, a place he’s familiar with from his previous holiday. Ricky and Steve aim to give him a genuine African experience, so they arrange for him to spend time with a family in a slum and assist a charity in rebuilding a shelter. He also gets to visit Jessica the Hippo, who lives with a family, and then Ricky sends him to participate in a rhino conservation project. Finally, Karl travels through the dense forests of Uganda, culminating in an encounter with a gorilla.
