Burton is determined to help Nick, who is currently incarcerated for drug possession, by seeking a defense from Mandy's daughter, Shannon. However, Shannon’s grandmother is fiercely opposed to her taking the stand, creating tension and obstacles. As Burton navigates this complicated situation, he must find a way to persuade Shannon to speak out and secure Nick's freedom.
