Episode Overview

While working on a community cleanup project as part of his service, Nick unexpectedly encounters a past client. Discovering that the client struggles with reading, Nick steps in and contacts a community college on his behalf. Meanwhile, Burton takes on a case involving a mother who is compelled to give her baby up for adoption due to financial difficulties. Additionally, Burton aims to adopt Shannon, but faces resistance from her father, who opposes the adoption.
