In Mesa, AZ, FTO Tim Hines initiates a traffic stop on a truck lacking a license plate light but quickly abandons it when two fellow officers call for backup after being struck. Meanwhile, Officer Adam Biermann joins other officers responding to a report of a man assaulted by his two brothers-in-law wielding a baseball bat. Over in Maricopa County, AZ, Deputy Gary Robertson investigates a convenience store robbery where two suspects make off with a case of beer but fail to escape successfully.
