(Chattanooga, TN - 7:13 PM Traffic Stop) Alpha Team's Sgt. Edwin McPherson explains their focus on minor drug transactions. His partner, Officer Curtis Green, remarks that working with Edwin is always eventful. They pull over a vehicle due to a loose license plate and, upon detecting the smell of marijuana, begin questioning the occupants. In Des Moines, IA, Officers Wilson and Matalone respond to a domestic disturbance, only to find evidence of violence, including broken glass and blood at the entrance, while noticing the filthy state of the kitchen.
