Episode Overview
In the premiere of its 18th season, deputies Marc Taub and Joseph Ensminger from the Travis County, TX, Sheriff's Office investigate a home burglary where the residence has been ransacked, yet there are no signs of forced entry and no items stolen. The residents, appearing intoxicated, suspect a friend might be responsible due to a dispute over marijuana use. The deputies collect fingerprints and advise caution in their social circles. Meanwhile, in Gwinnett County, GA, Corporal Bev Genevish, Officer James Presley, and Lt. J.T. Strickland respond to a report of a car striking a cyclist. The driver, unable to recall the incident, is found with a damaged vehicle, while a bloodied young boy approaches the officers, suffering from memory loss about the event.
