(2:33 AM Street Patrol) Harris County Sheriff’s Dept. – Deputy Monty Herron, a lifelong horse enthusiast with 15 years of ownership for stress relief, is part of a rodeo association for Texas law enforcement officers. He responds to a report of a burglary in progress involving a group of black males, only to find a shooting scene. A man is injured in the chest and a woman in the leg. Inside a dimly lit house, a woman blocks their entry while the man claims he shot at an intruder. His wife, attempting to escape, was caught in gunfire from their bedroom window, leaving visible damage and blood throughout.
