In the East Patrol district of Missouri, Officer Kevin Tempel shares insights about the Crime Tips initiative. This program allows officers to engage with children by handing out baseball cards featuring Royals players on one side and crime prevention tips on the reverse. Although the program was temporarily halted, the enthusiasm from kids prompted its revival. Officer Tempel encounters three youngsters, encouraging them to flex their muscles and rewarding them with some baseball cards. Meanwhile, the day also brings a drive-by shooting, a suspected shoplifting incident, and a domestic disturbance call.
