At the same time, Appleton is representing a Jewish teenager (Maury Ginsberg) facing charges for committing a hate crime. Following a dangerous turn in her sister's murder investigation, Julie Costello arrives at the law firm to meet with Hoffman, concerned that her own safety is now at risk.
