Walker, Texas Ranger (1993)
S06E13 Tribe
Episode Overview
Sam Coyote, the Reservation Police Chief and a close friend of Walker, has been romantically involved with archaeologist Nora Shannon, who’s been conducting research on the reservation. When he proposes to her, she declines, leading to some tension between them. Meanwhile, an oil company, eager to tap into the reservation's resources, realizes that the drilling site overlaps with Nora's excavation area. They recruit a member of her team to convince her to vacate the site. When that plan fails, the crew member murders Nora and frames Sam for the crime. Though Walker and his deputy, George, believe in Sam’s innocence, the killer reports him to the Feds, prompting an imminent arrest. To keep Sam on the reservation for further investigation, Walker instructs George to take him into custody. As Walker uncovers the oil company’s intentions regarding mineral rights, he confronts the man behind the scheme for answers.
