Episode Overview
C.D. is presented with the position of acting head of security at Golden Wells, an upscale resort, following the mysterious disappearance of his predecessor. Curious about what happened, he asks Grady, the assistant security chief, who claims the former head had a drinking issue. However, when C.D. checks with the Sheriff, he learns that's not the case. Eager to assist, C.D. remains unaware that Grady has already taken drastic measures to silence him. Meanwhile, Walker receives orders from the commissioner, who was directed by the Governor, to oversee the resort during a high-profile event. Accompanied by Alex and Trivette—who poses as a wealthy businessman—Walker discovers that Grady has a hidden criminal past that slipped through the cracks during his hiring. Concerned that C.D. is getting too close to the truth, Grady plots to eliminate the threat.
