After missing Edie's second birthday celebration, Jimmy takes it upon himself to organize a grand party at his restaurant to make amends with the family. However, the festivities come to an abrupt standstill when Sara's brother arrives and confronts Jimmy about abandoning Sara and leaving her to raise Gerald alone.
