Episode Overview

At a dinner hosted at Ashfordly Hall, the county High Sheriff, Andrew Parkin, makes an unwelcome advance towards Susie Cope, one of the servers. On their way home, Parkin and his wife Sonia accidentally hit farmer Colin Taylor. They assert that Sonia was driving because Andrew had been drinking too much, but PC Bradley is skeptical, noting that the driver's seat was positioned too far back for her. This incident could prove costly for the Parkins since their insurance doesn’t cover her driving. Meanwhile, Susie informs Oscar Blaketon, who is investigating on Taylor's behalf, that she believes Andrew was the actual driver. Additionally, Vernon Scripps revives his old concept of starting a marriage bureau.
