Episode Overview

Title: Unchained Melody Plot: Jackie is caught off guard when her longtime friend Caroline pays her a visit, revealing she’s now a mother. Caroline decides to take a break from parenting, leaving her baby in Jackie and Mike's care while she heads to York to reconnect with friends. However, chaos ensues when Mike mistakenly leaves the baby in a pram outside the police station, and Jackie returns to find it missing. Meanwhile, at Ashfordly Hall, Lady Patricia is less than thrilled about hosting her brother and their old acquaintance, Lord Hal Tadcaster, especially since the CID suspects him of drug-related activities. In Whitby, the post office strike prompts Vernon Scripps to launch a courier service, taking matters into his own hands for a change.
