Testees (2008)
Overview
Testees, a Canadian comedy series crafted by Kenny Hotz and Derek Harvie, follows the misadventures of two friends participating in bizarre medical tests for cash. Premiering on October 9, 2008, on FX, the show delivered its unique humor until its cancellation after one season on December 18, 2008. Filmed in Toronto and Hamilton, Testees also made its debut on Showcase in Canada shortly thereafter. Despite its short run, the series found a second life on various international networks, including FX in the UK and Comedy Central across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.
