Episode Overview

After attending a cattle sale, Lucas and Mark are on their way home when their stagecoach is ambushed by three bandits, headed by the skilled marksman Johnny Cotton (Vic Morrow). In a quick decision, Lucas instructs Mark to continue on in the stagecoach while he pursues the robbers on foot, unarmed and determined to catch them.
