Episode Overview

Micah Torrance, a former renowned lawman, arrives in North Fork in a disheveled state, clearly struggling with alcoholism. Despite his past, Lucas sees potential in him and offers Micah a job on the ranch, especially since he is dealing with an injured arm from an old gunfight. Trouble soon arises when three outlaws come to town seeking vengeance against Micah. After they murder the sheriff, it falls to Lucas and Micah to defend North Fork. Ultimately, Micah steps up to become the town's new Marshal.
