Episode Overview

K.C. is taken by surprise when his mother arrives, despite his efforts to keep her at bay. She reveals that she has secured an apartment and wants to gain custody of him. After discussing the situation with his social worker, K.C. remains skeptical about her transformation and decides to investigate her apartment when she invites him over. In English class, Clare is paired with Eli, who encourages her to step out of her comfort zone and share her thoughts. Meanwhile, Alli seeks advice from Dave on how to ask a boy out. Misunderstanding her intentions, Dave, who still has feelings for her, suggests throwing a party, which she pulls off while her parents and Sav are away.
