Ellie believes that Craig's reckless behavior is influenced by Manny, so she is resolute in supporting him during his visit. When Craig scores a gig with Taking Back Sunday (playing as themselves) at a university concert, Ellie feels their troubles are behind them. However, as Jesse urges her to recognize the reality of the situation, Craig's actions become increasingly erratic. Can Ellie uncover the truth in time to protect herself? Meanwhile, Derek and Danny find themselves intimidated by the Lakehurst bullies, who are actually targeting JT. Determined to stand up for Mia, who is caught in the crossfire, JT confronts the antagonists from the rival school. He faces the challenge of proving his maturity while figuring out the right choice to make.
