Episode Overview

For the first time, Edina has decided to celebrate Christmas at home with her family. Normally, she goes all out with an enormous tree and a mountain of presents. Meanwhile, Patsy is furious that she can't escape on vacation with Edina as they do each year, as she despises the holiday. She reminisces about her traumatic childhood Christmases. Suddenly, a pin is stuck into a Patsy voodoo doll, causing her to collapse in agony under the tree. Despite Edina and Saffron's indifference, John insists she needs medical attention. At the hospital, doctors inform Edina that Patsy is critically ill. However, Edina and Saffron return home to continue their festivities. Later that night, Patsy's estranged sister, Jackie, unexpectedly arrives. The next day, Edina and Saffron visit the hospital, only to discover that it’s Jackie who has passed away, not Patsy.
