Episode Overview
Felicity's father returns to New York with her for his work at the university, but his constant presence becomes overwhelming. She panics when he reveals plans to pursue a full-time position as a surgery professor. Meanwhile, Dr. Porter drops a bombshell, informing Felicity that he and her mother have separated. In the midst of this, Felicity and Ben find themselves working the same shifts at Dean & DeLuca. Ben confides in Sean, admitting he regretted following his advice against dating Felicity. After the university eliminates the swim program, Ben persuades Felicity to unwind with him. They use his fake I.D. to buy beer and sneak into the campus pool, only to be caught by security, risking expulsion. Julie turns down Erik's advances, but he insists he genuinely cares about her music. As she starts recording her demo, a technician warns her about Erik's predatory reputation. Ben encourages Sean to express his feelings for Julie, but Sean hesitates
