Felicity catches wind of a rumor claiming that Julie has composed and performed a harsh song targeting her. When the subway malfunctions, they find themselves trapped in the same car for hours. The other riders listen in on their bickering and join the fray. An older gentleman helps them see that their friendship may not have been as strong as they thought. Meanwhile, Noel and Ruby start a romantic relationship, and Sean creates a new condiment called "smoothaise," convinced it will lead him to wealth. Ben encounters an overly aggressive caterer.
