Episode Overview
Upon discovering that Ben has been injured, Mr. Covington returns to town, eager to mend his relationship with his son. He enlists Felicity's aid when Ben refuses to see him. Overwhelmed, Mr. Covington weeps as he shares how his life has unraveled. In a moment of vulnerability, he kisses Felicity while she tries to console him. Although Ben starts to soften towards his father, he soon notices Felicity’s unease and realizes something is amiss. After Mr. Covington confesses, Ben demands that he leave. Felicity suggests Ben join Al-Anon to process his feelings about his dad, where he’s surprised to find Molly. Meanwhile, Sean immerses himself in Judaism to honor a promise made before surgery, leading him to end his relationship with Meghan when she refuses to convert.
