Robotnik is on the hunt for the Drood Henge scrolls, which reveal the whereabouts of the two mighty Deep Power Stones. Uncle Chuck alerts Sally to the danger, and soon, Sonic and Tails discover that Robotnik has already obtained one of the stones. The Freedom Fighters must race against time to locate the second stone before it falls into the wrong hands.
