As Val's wedding date approaches, her anxiety escalates upon learning of the death of her dressmaker, Gittle. To make matters worse, her wedding dress has been donated to a thrift store. Determined to retrieve it, Holly, Vince, Gary, and Ben rush to the store, only to discover that the dress has just been sold. Meanwhile, at a nearby pizzeria, Holly, Ben, and Gary spot Rick sharing a pizza with his ex-fiancée, Julie, despite his earlier claim to Val that he was in New Jersey for business.
