American Ninja Warrior (2009)

Episode Overview

The qualifying rounds roll on with a unique all-military lineup taking on the course at the pier in San Pedro, California, right by the iconic battleship USS Iowa. Participants, consisting of both active duty and retired service members, will face a six-stage city qualifying course that includes two brand-new obstacles: the Log Runner and the challenging I-Beam Cross. Former Army National Guard Captain and six-time Ninja veteran Ryan Stratis, along with active Navy Lieutenant Junior Grade Dustin McKinney, return to try their luck on the course. This marks the final round of city qualifiers before moving on to the city finals.
