Episode Overview

Kevin and Lucy’s marriage is strained as they navigate the pain of losing their babies. In a moment of anguish, Lucy publicly accuses Kevin of being responsible for their miscarriages during church, which intensifies the rift between them. She increasingly isolates herself, spending her days alone at the movies, where she finds a sympathetic ear in T-Bone, a theater usher. Meanwhile, Annie encourages Kevin to reach out to Lucy. When he discovers her connection with T-Bone, his frustration grows. Additionally, Eric feels uncomfortable when Ms. Margo, the boys' second-grade teacher, flirts with him, especially as Sam and David mistakenly refer to him as their "Grandpa."
