When Eric and Annie notice funds missing from the church treasury, their suspicions quickly fall on Lou, the treasurer. However, they soon learn that Lou took the money to help his disabled son, who has been evicted and desperately needs to find a new place to live. Meanwhile, Matt and Lucy suspect Coach Koper's intentions regarding Mary and, in their quest for the truth, risk damaging their relationship with her. Additionally, Simon becomes consumed by golf, leading to a series of mishaps as he struggles to balance his obsession with his responsibilities.
