Episode Overview
In the premiere of the third season, Annie is feeling down as she navigates her three-month pregnancy. Meanwhile, Ruthie is playfully pretending to share in the experience. Lucy is diligently applying the tips from her 'The Rules' dating guide. Matt has moved into an apartment with three attractive women, which complicates his life. Eric is busy planning a special 20th anniversary surprise for Annie. Mary finds herself the center of attention from several boys, causing jealousy in Lucy. However, one of Mary's friends surprises Lucy by asking her out. After facing challenges with his new roommates, Matt returns home. Simon's girlfriend is acting strangely, and Eric and Annie reveal to their children that they are expecting twins!
