Episode Overview
As Simon prepares to find the ideal gift for Deena to celebrate their three-month anniversary, his obsession with perfection frustrates his friend Nigel, who is visiting. Meanwhile, Rod, Lucy's former boyfriend, seeks solace at the Camden household after the loss of his mother, avoiding his father due to unresolved anger. Heather returns to town and reveals her engagement to Matt, while Dr. Hastings, the doctor who nearly caused Matt's death at birth, now works at Glen Oak Hospital, much to Annie's dismay, especially since he might be involved in her twin delivery. Mary claims she's reunited with Wilson, but it's a ruse to attract attention from guys. Lastly, Michael Towner, who accidentally hit Mary with his car two years prior, reaches out to her.
