Episode Overview
Robbie's new friend, Marie, bears an uncanny likeness to Mary, which raises suspicions among the observant Camdens. Things take a turn when Annie invites Marie to join them for dinner, complicating matters further. Meanwhile, in Buffalo, Mary unintentionally encounters her former boyfriend Wilson (guest-star Andrew Keegan) and his son, Billy, at the train station, leading her to arrange an evening catch-up. Torn about whether to disclose this to Robbie, she shares her dilemma with her family, who urge her to be honest. Ultimately, Mary chooses to keep it a secret. Additionally, Matt crosses paths with Robbie's ex, Cheryl, at her workplace. He develops feelings for her and makes a genuine effort to ask her out, which pays off, but he struggles with how to inform Robbie about his budding interest.
