Episode Overview

Charles, Annie's father, arrives at the Camden home for a weekend getaway, supposedly because Ginger needs a break. However, Eric forgets to inform his wife about the visit, leaving the family preoccupied and unable to spend quality time with the older man. In an unexpected turn of events, Grandpa Charles takes Simon to obtain his learner's permit, only to find themselves embroiled in a televised police chase. Meanwhile, Eric deceives Annie about his day's agenda, claiming he has plans at Glenoak Hospital instead.
