Episode Overview

When a series of belongings go missing from their home, the family discovers Ruthie in the garage apartment with a friend, surrounded by the stolen items. Ruthie reveals that she’s been hiding her friend from two older boys who have been bullying her due to her Muslim faith. Moved by the girl's situation, Mary and Lucy rally their neighbors to endorse a petition supporting the friend’s family. Meanwhile, Matt and Simon opt for a more confrontational approach, setting out to track down the bullies responsible for the harassment.
