Episode Overview

Eric and Annie decide to host a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" gathering for Jill Dupree, Ruthie's Muslim friend, and her family. However, the Duprees feel reluctant to join the festivities. Eric feels disheartened upon discovering that their community isn't as welcoming to Muslims as he had hoped. Concurrently, while attending Kevin's inaugural Neighborhood Watch meeting, Cecilia and her father experience a burglary at their home. Roxanne works with a troubled sixteen-year-old and begins to suspect he may be linked to the theft, while Chandler finds himself drawn to Peter's mother, Paris.
