Episode Overview
As a comet approaches Earth, X.A.N.A. seizes control of a military satellite armed with lasers and breaks the comet into pieces, directing most of it towards the factory. While Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich are navigating the digital sea, X.A.N.A. traps them behind a firewall to thwart their efforts to intervene. Meanwhile, Yumi is at school when she learns about the impending disaster and begins evacuating her classmates. Jeremy instructs her to connect his laptop to an antenna to gain control of the satellite and eliminate the threat. With assistance from Hiroki and Johnny, she manages to do this, but X.A.N.A. blocks their attempts. Aelita deduces that X.A.N.A. is more interested in capturing her than destroying the Supercomputer. To confirm her suspicion, she has Odd devirtualize her. Her theory proves right when X.A.N.A. eliminates the comet and unexpectedly halts his attack himself.
