Episode Overview
Brenda pressures Brandon into taking her to a party at Donna’s place, despite his concerns about drinking. However, Steve sneaks alcohol into his drink, leading Brandon to cave in to avoid looking "uncool." Meanwhile, Kelly gets drunk and ends up sleeping with Steve. Cindy smells alcohol on Brenda, but Brandon manages to escape any suspicion. Jim and Cindy go to a weekend retreat where they’re stuck with an overly enthusiastic couple. Brenda persuades Brandon to host a party with a no-drinking rule, but it spirals out of control. Brandon ends up drinking heavily and kisses a shocked Andrea. To dodge Steve's advances, Kelly dances with an infatuated David. In a reckless moment, Brandon attempts to drive to the store, crashes his car, and is arrested for DUI. Dylan later takes him to an AA meeting, revealing his own struggles with alcoholism.
