Episode Overview
The Martins invite Gina to celebrate Christmas with them, but they exclude her from their Christmas Eve gathering to avoid explaining her presence to their friends. Initially, Donna supports her parents' decision but ultimately decides to skip the party to stand by Gina. She relentlessly probes Noah about the car accident that took his girlfriend's life, leading him to break up with her, unable to relive the pain. Meanwhile, Donna and Gina grow closer. When Steve and Janet encounter her parents at a tree lot, Janet invites them to dinner, but they treat Steve coldly and leave abruptly. Steve warns the Sosnas to accept Madeline fully or stay away. On Christmas night, they arrive at the house to give their blessing. Dylan's negative influence surfaces when he punches an irate neighbor at the community center. Meanwhile, Matt proposes to Kelly, and Dylan also expresses his commitment, but Kelly struggles to prioritize herself.
