Episode Overview

Steve and Janet share the news of their engagement and pregnancy with her parents, only to be met with harsh criticism, branding Janet a disgrace. Meanwhile, Steve’s father suggests postponing their wedding. The situation escalates when Janet collapses and is rushed to the hospital, where she's diagnosed with a panic attack and advised to minimize stress. Mr. and Mrs. Sosna pressure Janet to end her relationship with Steve and return home. During the engagement party, Steve misleads Janet’s parents about his mother’s partner, Karen, unaware that Rush is the only one in Los Angeles oblivious to Samantha's sexuality. Defiantly, Steve and Janet confront their families, insisting they won’t accept further attempts to separate them. Matt and Noah each propose moving out so Steve can bring Janet and their baby home, while Matt invites Kelly to get an apartment with him, but she declines. Meanwhile, Donna decides to move in with Noah.
