Episode Overview
Bobby, Brenda and Brandon's cousin, comes to visit as he contemplates transferring to UCLA. After a skiing accident left him a paraplegic three years ago, he’s become quite resilient. During his stay, he and Kelly hit it off, but Brenda worries that Kelly might end up hurting him. Despite Bobby's positive attitude, he feels out of place at a party with the group. When he spots Kelly dancing with someone else, he becomes disheartened and decides to leave. Believing Kelly would eventually lose interest, he pulls back from her. Brandon shares his guilt over the accident with Bobby, who reassures him that he shouldn’t carry that burden. Meanwhile, Brenda finally passes her driving test but is still too anxious to drive. Emily starts contributing to the school newspaper, and David asks Donna out.
