Episode Overview
Brenda calls Dylan from jail, hoping to keep her arrest under wraps, but he feels compelled to inform her parents. Her friends distance themselves, worried about being seen as accomplices, and Kelly becomes particularly cold, frustrated by Dylan’s constant support for Brenda. Facing felony charges for a federal crime, Brenda is approached by an undercover FBI agent who offers her immunity if she provides testimony. Kelly later apologizes for her behavior. Meanwhile, Andrea gifts Donna a lively puppy, Rocky II, to help her cope with the loss of Rocky. Steve and his domineering father, Rush, compete in a father-son golf tournament against a baseball star and his dad. When Steve catches Rush cheating, he insists they finish the game honestly. Lucinda receives a film grant and decides to leave the university. Josh threatens to reveal Brandon's affair with Lucinda unless Brandon supports his student president campaign, but Brandon calls his bluff, leading Josh to reconsider his threat.
