Episode Overview
Valerie purchases the Peach Pit After Dark from Rush and threatens to fire Ray unless he agrees to rekindle their romance. Ray stands his ground and opts to go on tour instead. Meanwhile, Donna is enraged at David for not standing up for Ray. To enjoy some privacy, Peter rents a motel room for him and Andrea. Dylan rejects Valerie's attempts to get closer, but she tries to entice him by leaving a joint at his home. When he attempts to smoke it, the wind prevents him from lighting it. This leads Dylan to visit his friend Charley, who is now running his family’s motel after rehab. At the campus, students pressure Brandon for action following a series of thefts, and tensions rise further when a woman is assaulted in broad daylight. David's introverted roommate Lenny, who is in his late twenties, becomes a suspect in the investigation. Music: "Why" and "Hold On," performed by Jamie Walters.
