Episode Overview

Donna steps in for Lisa at a local convenience store, where she catches a young boy trying to steal a teddy bear for his brother’s birthday. Instead of turning him in, she decides to help him out. Later, while driving with Joe, they get lost and run out of gas. Isaiah, the boy she aided, comes to their rescue by inviting them to his apartment to call for a tow truck. There, Donna realizes that he and his siblings are home alone while their mother works. Concerned, she tries to intervene, but their mother dismisses her. Donna eventually secures spots for the kids in a daycare associated with her sorority. Meanwhile, Brandon unintentionally distances Nat and Susan during the charity casino night at After Dark. Valerie riles up Kelly and David after outbidding Kelly for a portrait session with Colin, claiming it’s a Christmas gift for David. Steve’s father lands him a job at a talent agency, but things take a turn when his boss is fired,
