Episode Overview
Clare is back in town after a few days away, and the group catches her up on the New Year's drama. Susan’s ex, Jonathan, came to visit and quickly got under Brandon's skin with his constant presence. On New Year's Eve, Jonathan confessed he still loved Susan and hinted at a deeper bond with her. He even gave her a lingering kiss, which led to Brandon confronting him. Meanwhile, Colin asked Valerie to hide his stash of coke to keep it from Kelly. After getting Colin home, a fight broke out with David, and when Kelly blamed Valerie for Colin’s issues, she decided to hand over the drugs and distance herself. Meanwhile, Joe’s Christmas gift to Donna, a bird, flew away, leading Donna, David, and Joe to spend hours trying to retrieve it. Joe lost his temper with Donna for not caring enough about the bird, but later showed up at the Rose Parade.
