Episode Overview

Tara makes a move on Brandon and intentionally overfeeds Kelly's fish, leading Kelly to demand that she leave. While rummaging through Tara's suitcase, Kelly uncovers that Tara had been dishonest about her parents' location. Furious, Tara retaliates by holding Kelly at gunpoint and forcing her to take a drive along the coast. When they stop, Kelly attempts to flee but is knocked unconscious by Tara. After tying Kelly up, Tara plans to kill them both with carbon monoxide from the car. However, Kelly manages to deceive Tara into freeing her, ultimately gaining control of the gun. Tara is then placed in a psychiatric facility, and her mother expresses gratitude to Kelly for her intervention. Meanwhile, Colin's plea deal is rejected by the judge due to his reckless driving, resulting in a two-year prison sentence. Additionally, Carl, a prince and a long-time family friend of Clare's, arrives for a visit and bonds with Steve while trying to show that he’s more than just royalty.
